Shrinky Dink Dolls

Remember Shrinky Dinks?!?  You can still buy the plastic sheets at any craft store.  I was in a swap on Swap-bot for these cute little jointed shrinky dink dolls.

  1. This is so neat!! I tried using this new shrink plastic a few months ago but it ALWAYS curled up, help!?!?! I tried making buttons and a mermaid keychain but the stuff I used wasn't like the kind I remember as a kid.

I have your name for the Check Out My Blog swap on Swap-Bot and you have a fascinating blog... I'm having so much fun reading it, I'll definitely be revisiting your site :-)

    1. shrinky dinks always curl up while they are being heated. If you allow them to keep going they will then flatten out.

  2. These are neat!! I saw a puppet show where the puppets were made out of this plastic. I have not typed up my post about it yet (I'm behind on my blogging), but the details about it will be coming soon. Thanks for signing up for my swap :)

  4. Those are super cute! I bet you could do some neat things with these in the vein of those Chinese shadow puppet dolls on sticks. I'm definitely going to try this at some point for a craft project on my blog.
